Shadow and Sax Press is a Canadian independent literary and arts press building a house for the ignored — a home for honest art and literature.
 

We are dedicated to work grounded in honesty, lived experience, and voices often overlooked in traditional spaces.

We publish hybrid work, poetry, and short fiction, alongside visual art and photography.

Our publications include a twice-yearly poetry journal, a biannual magazine featuring art, photography, short stories, and poetry, and a growing series of poetry chapbooks. Selected work is also featured online.

Our goal is simple: to create a space where vulnerable, honest, unvarnished work can be seen, supported, and remembered.
