Regressive Tendencies by George Nevgodovskyy

Some will raze their entire world just to find Eden again.

Regressive Tendencies is both a retreat into the past and a personal degeneration. Exploring longing and regret, the suppression of reality and the straitjacket of memory, inevitable decay and futile attempts at resuscitation, these are poems by someone who’s seen In the Mood for Love too many times.

Surreal and imagistic, George Nevgodovskyy employs pattern and form to explore the bittersweetness of love and all that we are doomed to remember. About the Author George Nevgodovskyy was born in Kiev, Ukraine, but has lived in Vancouver, Canada, for most of his life. He has previously been published in East of the Web, Nunum, ExPat Press, trampset, and others. He does his best writing after everyone has gone to sleep.
