About the Author

Victoria Spires lives in Northampton. Her debut pamphlet Soi-même was published by Salo Press in 2025. Her work has been widely published and anthologized, recently in Poetry Ireland Review, Cambridge Review of Books, and Oxford Review of Books. In 2025 she won the Alpine Fellowship Poetry Prize and placed Third in the Rialto Nature and Place Competition. In 2026 to date she has been a finalist in the Mslexia Women's Poetry Competition, and had several longlists/shortlists/commendations, including the Ware Open Poetry Competition, the Propel Cambridge Poetry Prize and the Artemesia Arts Poetry Competition.
