Urchin by Sandrine Letellier

Urchin is a collection of poems centred around ephemeral images, fleeting moments of reclamation where the feminine body and mind intertwine with their environment. Candid and unmilled, it also speaks of the tangibility of absence through the colours and shapes left in hindsight. The extended metaphors invite readers to delve into their own interpretation and extract snapshots of meaning.

Sandrine Letellier finds inspiration in nature, music, and visual arts. From Montreal, her work has been published in Sontag Mag, Shadow and Sax, Sky Island journal, Wild Roof journal, Free Verse Revolution, Querencia Press, Bitter Melon Review and others. She is the founder and Editor-In-Chief of Azarão Lit Journal.

Urchin is Shadow and Sax’s first chapbook and contains thirty poems.
